The Discover Music Slots are fully booked. But you can visit the new Musikmesse Plaza (6, April). Musical explorers can there undertake a journey into the world of tones and sounds. Under the supervision of professionals from the Frankfurt Music Academy, children, young people and adults can try their hand with a large variety of musical instruments. YouTube stars and influencers, such as Evi, Vincent Lee, Tanzverbot and Ceddo give tips on starting a YouTube or an Instagram channel. Visitors will get the chance to talk to the online-stars at a meet & greet, and to get a selfie and autographs.
Your visit will be included in a Musikmesse ticket or you can buy a ticket for Musikmesse Plaza for just 5 Euros under musikmesse-plaza.com
Discover Music integrated and developed the long-running project Musik4Kidz to promote music making among children.
This area not only offers young visitors the chance to take their first musical steps but also represents an attractive platform where all visitor target groups have the opportunity to test instruments.
All Musikmesse visitors are welcome to use the Discover Music area to test instruments to their heart’s content and expand their musical horizons.
Discover Music occupies an area of 1,500 square metres in CMF and is thus directly linked to the product halls of the fair.
The area is split into different musical-instrument segments, so each group of instruments forms its own experiential world.
The spectrum covered stretches from classic percussion, via guitars and string instruments, to electronic instruments, such as e-drums and digital pianos.
For both young people and adults, there will also be an area focusing on Recording & DJ.
On hand will be a team of music teachers to help participants how to use the instruments properly, so they quickly play their first notes and gain inspiration for making music themselves.
As in previous years, kindergarten groups from the entire Rhine-Main region are invited to participate.
