Glasperlenspiel & Mousse T.
That Glasperlenspiel and Mousse T. harmonise seamlessly was already apparent in 2018. During the Germany Seeks the Superstar television programme, singer Carolin Niemczyk, the female half of the Glasperlenspiel electropop duo, and Mousse T. complemented each other perfectly on the jury.
On 5 April, Glasperlenspiel – as duo with Daniel Grunenberg – and Mousse T. are getting back together for a unique DJ set at the Festival Arena of Frankfurt Fair and Exhibition Centre!
Hard club vibes, atmospheric R ‘n’ B and hip-hop influences: their latest album, ‘Licht & Schatten’ (light and shadow), demonstrates Glasperlenspiel’s adaptability – an urban-pop sound that sets feet dancing!
Mousse T. is a legendary remixer, DJ and producer. His third studio album, ‘Where is the Love’ was released recently. He describes his style as being “Hip-hop-influenced but danceable”. And you will be able to see and feel for yourself just how danceable this mix of soul, jazz, funk and disco is at this musical summit.

Big Band der Bundeswehr
Tuesday 2. April 2019, 11:00 a.m.
Conducted by Timor Oliver Chadik, the Big Band der Bundeswehr (Big Band of the German Armed Forces) is one of Germany’s most unusual show and entertainment orchestras. There are many reasons for this. For example, the ensemble stands out from the 13 other bands of the Military Music Service of the German Armed Forces by having the mission, appearance and sound of a classic big band. Thus, conventional march and orchestra music is not on the cards. Moreover, no other show and entertainment orchestra tours Germany and the world with such an ultra-modern and unique stage show including multi-media effects. What also makes the North Rhine-Westphalia-based musicians so special is that they are not only a modern visiting card for the Federal Republic of Germany but also outstanding musical ambassadors for the armed forces – naturally, in uniform.
