The International Piano Forum will present the 9th International German Piano Award on 1 April 2019.
Six nominated pianists will play for the laureate jury in the semi-finals on 31 March. Only two will be selected for the final and grand finale on 1 April. After their performances, the laureate of the 9th International German Piano Award will be chosen.
As a member of the audience, you can vote for the best pianist in the grand finale.

Both pieces will be performed.
- The entrance ticket grants free admission to the Semifinals, Final and Grand-Prix Final Concert.
- The combi-ticket includes the ticket for the 9th International German Piano Award (31 March - 1 April) and the Music Fair Festival Ticket for the period 2 – 6 April 2019.
- Concert visitors who have purchased the combi-ticket in advance or at the box office will receive the “Musikmesse Festivalbändchen” at the box office of the Alte Oper Frankfurt on 1 April.
The ticket price includes the return ticket in the entire fare zone of the RMV. This also applies to print @ home tickets. Valid 5 hours before the start of the performance until the end of the business day. Using of the 1st class is only with supplementary surcharge allowed.
