Musikmesse brings together companies with retailers, professionals from the musical-instrument sector and musicians from all over the world.
What you can expect at Musikmesse

- Musikmesse is overlapping with Prolight + Sound (11. – 13. April), the international trade fair of technologies and services for entertainment, integrated systems and creation. With your ticket you can visit both fairs.

Statements on Musikmesse
This is where we make the most direct connection with the people who buy our products. Our sector is a 'personal business' – the more you come into contact with your customers, the better it is for business. I was very pleased to be able to have discussions with end consumers from European countries. My personal objectives for the fair were actually surpassed in this respect. We are planning to be back again next year as well.
We were very satisfied with Musikmesse 2017 and had a great show! We continuously had a lot of visitors at our booth including a lot of trade visitors in the first three days. We did really good business and it was absolutely amazing to meet so many musicians!
We were positively surprised by the way the fair went. Our stand was well visited right from the start – we are more than happy with our visitor numbers. The 'Drum Camp' was one of the reasons that prompted us to exhibit at the fair again for the first time in five years. Some of our endorsers were also there, so we were able to increase awareness of our brand even further.
Musikmesse 2017 was very successful for us. This was the first time that we had exhibited in the B2B hall and it was a very positive experience. We were able to talk to partners from all over the world and we found exactly the right people for our business. Although we are well established in the sector, it’s always good to make new contacts – and face-to-face meetings are considerably more effective than emails.
The 2017 show was the most amazing Musikmesse of recent years. From the very first day we had a good number of visitors, which was right for us in terms of both quantity and quality. We have many new contacts. We had visitors from all over Europe, but also from Asia and South America. Everything was simply perfect this year.
We are pleased to be here and we’ve had a good fair. The organisers set the foundations for that – and we have made the most of it. The fair is a good showroom for launching products: we have brought our product innovations into the public eye, and this has worked very well. We have attracted international trade visitors, and these also include wholesalers from Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, Spain and Iceland. We have been able to generate valuable new contacts.
We were very taken with the concept of exhibiting in the immediate vicinity of the Guitar Campand so we decided to attend the fair again this year. The fair creates added value for the visitors with elements like this. The sector needs Musikmesse in order to draw attention to music making.
The show was very interesting. This is where we encounter highly professional musicians, especially those from the classical sector. This mix of visitors is different to that at other fairs - and we like it very much. We are also very pleased about the great interest that the media is showing in our products. We have made many interesting contacts with specialist retailers as well.
The most important thing at the fair for me is to meet my customers from overseas. Over four days I have the opportunity to talk to my customers from Korea, Japan, Australia, Canada and the USA, and they all came as well. In addition to our stand space, we were also present as sponsors of the 'Discover Music' area for young talent. Many children played the violin here for the first time – and the young people of today are the customers of tomorrow.
We exhibited in Hall 8 this year and found the atmosphere very pleasant there. We think that Messe Frankfurt did a very good job. We are very happy with the service and conditions right across the board.
