Musikmesse takes stricter measures to limit noise levels

file

This year, Musikmesse is taking stricter measures to limit noise levels in the hall during the fair. This includes some changes to the visitor checks on admission. For example, visitors are not allowed to take any musical instruments with them into the fair – this has always been the case. In 2010, however, drumsticks will also be treated as instruments and have to be handed in at the entrance.

Naturally, visitors can collect them when leaving the fair. With this step, Musikmesse aims to keep noise during the fair at the legally prescribed level. Especially in Hall 3.0, where percussion instruments are to be found, both visitors and exhibitors will be informed that no instruments may be played outside the sound-proof cabins.

The result, it is hoped, will be a better working atmosphere at the fair during the trade-visitors days.
