Musikmesse – the world's leading trade fair for musical instruments and live music!
The Musikmesse in Frankfurt am Main is the leading international trade fair for musical instruments, music software & computer hardware, sheet music and accessories and has been the foremost meeting place for the musical-instrument industry for over 25 years. On the four days of the fair, manufacturers, dealers, professional, semi-professional and amateur musicians gather in Frankfurt am Main every spring to discover and discuss the latest products.

With 1,603 exhibitors from 48 countries, Musikmesse 2007 set a new record. Totalling 78,527, the number of visitors also broke all previous records with an increase of 6.8 percent over the previous year!

Live for the music!
The Musikmesse is the world's biggest fair for the musical-instrument sector. Under the motto, 'Live for the music', it is held parallel to Prolight + Sound, the trade fair for professional event technology. Last year, the two fairs once again attracted a total of over 100,000 visitors. The comprehensive impression of the sector offered by the Musikmesse is supplemented and extended by the event-technology products to be seen at Prolight + Sound. Holding the two fairs at the same time and place generates a multitude of synergetic effects for exhibitors and trade visitors.

The international Musikmesse in Frankfurt am Main has been distinguished by an on-going process of expansion for many years. The number of exhibitors and visitors has increased continuously although both sides are already much larger than the average.
