Musikmesse is the world’s biggest and most important fair for the musical-instrument sector. In 2012, it will be held from March 21 to 24 and give a comprehensive overview of all subject areas and products associated with music making.

In 2011, Musikmesse underscored its position as the world’s foremost event for the musical-instrument sector. Together with the concurrent Prolight + Sound and Media Systems Prolight + Sound trade fairs, Musikmesse 2011 attracted 110,000 visitors during the four days of the fair.

76 percent of exhibitors at Musikmesse 2011 said they were very to extremely pleased with the degree to which they had been able to achieve their targets for the fair, especially with regard to the number of trade visitors and buyers with decision-making authority at the exhibition stands. This highly professional audience of trade visitors was made up, in particular, of music teachers, musicians, specialist dealers, retailers, the industry, craftspeople and representatives of the wholesale and import / export trades.
